Scozzafava takes on Palin

The Hoffman campaign and many of his supporters targeted Scozzafava on some of her more moderate views, particularly on social issues. The growing conservative support for Hoffman, including the endorsements from Palin and other prominent conservatives, eventually led Scozzafava - who had been hand-picked by local party leaders - to drop out of the race just days before Election Day. "How can Sarah Palin come out and endorse someone who can't answer some basic questions?" Scozzafava told the Washington Post. "Do these people even know who they are endorsing?" In the interview, Scozzafava - who ended up backing the race's victor, Democrat Bill Owens - sounded a bitter note about how she was treated by members of her own party. "It was organized," Scozzafava told the Post about the attacks against her by Palin, other prominent conservative figures, and conservative advocacy groups. "There is a lot of us who consider ourselves Republicans, of the Party of Lincoln. If they don't want us with them, we're going to work against them."

#11 her views were moderate -- for Pubs in New York. I think the evidence is that she is a moderate, for the establishment Republican Party back-roomers of New York, Dr. Steve. That the voters are more conservative is evidenced by the fact that a carpetbagger/newbie politician/accountant(!)/minor party candidate lost by so very little to the establishment Democratic hometown boy. |

#7 Scozzafava ( nice name) is screwed, kiss her good bye. Palin is getting heavier, isnt she.? She may weigh in as a "contender". Three years to go. A lot can happen in three years. Barack Hussein has a long trudge ahead and he's gonna have to carry his ass the whole way in the heat. It's not going to get better for him. And at the end....somebody is going to put a sharp fork right through the Dhimmis weiner. |

#6 The Hoffman campaign and many of his supporters targeted Scozzafava on some of her more moderate views, particularly on social issues. Moderate? This is why the left calls not only the right, but also centralists 'radicals'. |

#4 She's also got to be pissed about getting stripped from her party leadership position in the NY Assembly. I mean....gee....why would they have done that, when all she did was support a Democrat after running a pathetic campaign that cost the national party thousands of dollars???? |
