[Iran Press TV Latest] A car bomb explosion has killed 16 people and wounded at least 30 others in the western Iraqi city of Fallujah, medics say. The attack came around the time of evening prayers in Amiriyeh, 15 kilometers (nine miles) southwest of Fallujah on Tuesday, a doctor from the town told AFP. The city which lies in Anbar province has witnessed brutal attacks since the US-led invasion of 2003. In recent months, the security of the province has improved dramatically as attacks have dropped nationwide after US forces in the country left urban areas for military bases outside cities.
