| Morocco sentences three guards over Kenitra prison break |

| [Maghrebia] A Moroccan court on Thursday (September 17th) sentenced three Kenitra prison guards to 4-8 months for negligence over the widely-publicised 2008 escape of nine inmates who tunnelled their way out of the jail, MAP reported. The runaways, all of whom were convicted for having links to the deadly 2003 Casablanca suicide bombings, were later captured and re-sentenced. |
