| Palestinian teen killed as Gaza smuggling tunnel collapses |

| Ma'an/Agencies -- A Palestinian was killed when a smuggling tunnel collapsed underneath the Gaza-Egypt border on Friday afternoon. Mustafa Salehea, 19, was killed when the tunnel collapsed, according to Muawiya Hassanein, the director of emergency services in Gaza. He told AFP news agency that the collapse was an accident. Witnesses in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah, said they heard an explosion in the area where the tunnels are located. The tunnels represent a lifeline for 1.5 million Palestinians who have lived under an Israeli-imposed blockade since June 2007, when Hamas took full control of the territory by force. |
