Obama calls Kanye West a "jackass"
2009-09-15
On this one issue, I stand foursquare with the President. Kanye West is indeed a jackass.

We now return you to our regularly-scheduled ranting...

#18  He likely didn't; his people did and briefed him, figuring it'd give the President some cultural credibility.

#17  I can't believe zero watched that show. I only hope he heard about it like I did, from the press. But the Beyonce (sp)calling her up later was a class act...

#16  He badmouths a president immediately after a disaster and he gets 'cred' for it, but he cuts off Taylor Swift and he draws more heat than a Whitehouse scandal.

Maybe if we elect Taylor Swift as our president, the MSM will cover executive branch scandals.

#15  "I find it disturbing that POTUS watches MTV."

-disturbing but not surprising...as he likes to see himself on t.v. as much as possible. It's good to know that POTUS has no bigger fish to fry so he can comment about the trivial and unimportant...

#14  I mean, isn't it about time he grew up?

#12  good picture, but the "shattered nation" pic would've also sufficed.

The M-TV show punk'd fooled him about being sued and in the process of the joke West made himself look like a complete asshole. It was actually embarrassing to watch.

#11  Note to Kayne's personal assistant: zanax, a muzzle, remove all white women taller than Mr. West from surrounds, a belly full of food, and then hes allowed out in public.

#10  Remember when Bush called Adam Clymer, "a major league assh---"

That was the result of a hot mic, so also an "off the record" comment. ABC has already apologized for their reporter in the case of Zero's remark being leaked; I'm pretty sure W wasn't extended the same courtesy.

#8  I can only begin to imagine the unmitigated hysteria that would have erupted like an apocalyptic volcano had it been Bush, and not 0bama, that called KW a "jackass".

#7  All I learned about Kayne West being a Jackass I learned from South Park:

http://www.southparkstudios.com/episodes/220762

This episode this season, "Fishsticks" was absolutely brutal on West. People see him and now chant "Gay Fish".

#6  Note that this was an "off the record" comment and the WH has no comment now.

The Jackass-in-Chief found out that Kanye's target was a white, Christian teenager. He'll probably call to congratulate KW.

#5  Uncontested layups are easy.

But watch out, could have been staged to bump West's, MTV's, and NBC's ratings; who love to spread your message.

Parting shot from Carlos Mencia predating South Park - obvious content warning.

How perfect is that as the canonical Zero incident?

#2  Normally, Kanye WestÂ’s puppy-stomping on the VMAs last night would be exactly the kind of celebrity misbehavior perfect for parody on South Park. Except South Park already delivered the perfect Kanye-skewering episode five months ago, which is why Comedy Central will re-air it tomorrow for two straight hours, starting at 9 p.m. ET.

#1  Isn't that a racist remark?
It would be if I had said it.
