Six foreign militants killed in Malakand clash |

![]() The six militants were killed during a clash in Thana area of Malakand Division on Friday morning. Security forces recovered a large cache of arms and explosive from their possession including six hand grenades, five Kalashnikovs, five rocket launchers and several shells from their possession. The militants were reportedly foreigners whose bodies have been placed in the local hospital for identification. On the other hand, Swat media center announced curfew relaxation till 11:00 pm in Mingora, Fizzaghat, Charbagh, Kanju and Kabal whereas curfew was eased till 6:00 pm in Matta, Khawazakhela, Darashkhela, Madeen and Peochar. Two militants killed, five arrested in 24 hours: ISPR Two militants were killed and five arrested in a continuing search and clearance operation in Swat and Malakand, said ISPR. Security forces carried out a search operation between Ningulai and Kanju and killed two militants, according to ISPR. Security forces apprehended three suspects during a search operation at Kukrai and Dangram. Search operations were also conducted at Alamganj near Waliabad and apprehended one militant from Gulibagh.-- |
