[Quqnoos] A provincial chief justice in the northern Kunduz province was killed by explosives placed in his vehicle on Wednesday, officials saidThe incident took place about 8:00am while Qari Jahangir, head of the provincial Justice Department, was driving to his office, said Kunduz Police Chief, Gen Abdul Razaq Yaqubi. Gen Yaqubi said a bomb was secretly put under his car seat. No groups, including the Taliban, have claimed responsibility for the bombing.
Last month, Kunduz governor, Mohammad Omar, was wounded when his vehicle struck a roadside bomb in the outskirt of the provincial capital.
