![]() The reason for his resignation is not known. Iran has consistently said its nuclear programme was for peaceful purposes and denied Western claims that it wanted a nuclear bomb. Aghazadeh previously served as oil minister before taking up his position at the atomic organisation under former president Mohammad Khatami. |
