| Breaking: 2, possibly more, shot at Washington Holocaust Museum |

| Jessica Kartalija reports authorities say at least two people have been shot at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington. D.C. police spokeswoman Traci Hughes says a person walked into the museum with a rifle and shot a guard. Hughes says the shooter was also shot. Hughes says the victims' conditions were not known. Both were being rushed to a hospital. U.S. Park Police gave slightly different information, saying three people had been shot. |

| #31 No, TW, I think this one is the Liberation Media Studies major from Frostbite Falls Socialist Cow College. Since he knows that "rail" is a synonym for "rant" he has obviously at least enrolled in freshperson English there, and may have taken the more advanced course "Field Studies 406, Media Marketing Interface: Goebbels to Che." It is a "he" because female students in that field normally don't bother to ape the ideology of their professors, they find it easier and less degrading to simply trade sexual favors for grades. |

| #22 bpebbles Yes I agree. There is a monument to victims of Communism in Wash DC near Union Station (about a mile east north east of the Holocaust Museum). Unfortunately a monument is all there is, no museum, no documentation center, no special wing for apologists for Communism and moral equivalency proponents. |

| #5 A guard was immediately hit, before two other security officers at the heavily guarded museum, less than a mile from the White House, hit von Brunn in the head with return fire. He was taken to George Washington Hospital in a critical condition. Officials said he may not survive. Well, at least there's some good news. |

| #3 This is a hell of a note: The shooter is now identified (by Fox News) as one James W. von Brunn. He is said to be quite elderly. There is a well-known white supremacist and antisemite by that name. He is currently 89 years old (!) and lives in Maryland. Google cache of his website (hat tip LGF) |

| #2 Foxnews: Reports said the suspect first shot a security guard, and that another guard returned fire, wounding the alleged shooter. There are conflicting reports about how many people were wounded. Another law enforcement official said three people were shot, but that there are no fatalities. |
