Someone explain to me how so many Americans got so stupid as to vote Obama into office?

#12  Bright Pebbles, what a cruel comparison that was. Obama shrivels in the presence of true greatness like Reagan.

I note that Reagan is speaking from notes, not a teleprompter, in that video. And its all about the men there, not about Reagan showboating (again, unlike Obama), and finally, Reagan is accurate, unlike Obama.

Someone explain to me how so many Americans got so stupid as to vote Obama into office?

#9  John Q, neither Obam nor his staff and speachwriters have ever had any history lessons. History isn't important.

#8  I heard BO's speech. I particularly enjoyed the part where he said that during WWII, the tanks rolled off the assembly lines in France and Detroit. France was occupied early on by the Nazi. What the hell is he talking about?

#7  Obambi is building his fairy castle America that has no comparison with reality. His behavir is making it more and more obvious he has no authority - or capability - to lead the US military, even though that's part of his job description. God have mercy on us - with Obambi as our leader, we need it.

#6  I don't think Obama will be treated well by History.

#5  We had made our share of mistakes, and had not always agreed >...In what way was any of that pap necessary?

Simple affirmation Frank. Clearly a global teaching moment. The public affirmation of beliefs instilled over twenty years of listening to the screaming hate-America Libertion Theology of men like Jeremiah Wright.

#3  and Obama distinguishes himself again with this squish:
"The nations and leaders that joined together to defeat Hitler's Reich were not perfect. We had made our share of mistakes, and had not always agreed with one another on every issue. But whatever God we prayed to, whatever our differences."

In what way was any of that pap necessary, and what did it add to the acknowledgment of the sacrifices made by so many men, and women, that he doesn't deserve to preside over.
