Unknown gunnies kill PML-N leader in Baluchistan

Unknown suspects Monday night killed a provincial leader of Pakistan's main opposition party in a Southwestern city of Baluchistan province, Pakistan's largest but least developed of the four provinces, said police.

Naeem Kashmiri was traveling in his private vehicle when unknown armed motorcyclists with their faces covered gunned him down on Jinnah Road in Quetta, the provincial capital, police sources told KUNA.

Kashmiri was provincial leader of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N), the countrys main opposition party of the National Assembly and ruling party of eastern Punjab province.

Though no group has claimed responsibility for the attack but Police blamed nationalist militants behind the killing. It said that a case has been filed against unknown militants.
