| [Geo News] Seventeen militants were killed and 4 miscreants were apprehended, whereas 3 security forces personnel including an officer embraced Shahadat and 10 others were injured in various areas of Swat in last 24 hours. According to ISPR, security forces are consolidating their positions and expanding their control over Peochar Valley. Security forces are also consolidating positions at Baini Baba Ziarat, Nazarabad, Uchraisar, and Wanai Ridge. During clashes in Shangla and Swat 3 miscreants-terrorists were killed and a JCO embraced shahadat. Own troops secured the strong holds of miscreants at Takhtaband village and Qambar. During the heavy exchange of fire between security forces and miscreants, 8 militants were killed and one soldier embraced Shahadat and 6 got injured. Two bodies of policemen were also found at Nishat Chowk Mingora. Miscreants ambushed a convoy of Security Forces near Kumbar bazaar. Exchange of fire took place. As a result 6 miscreants-terrorists were killed while 4 were apprehended from Kot Musa. An officer embraced shahadat and 4 soldiers were injured. |
