| #9 I've long felt the Hajj was gonna lead to some kind of epidemic to a lot of nations that are ill equipped medically to deal with it. Eh, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there some polio outbreak traced back to the hajj a couple of years ago? I believe that some "edumacated" Wasn't the Magic Kingdom coming up with some protocols to deal with the possibility of another epidemic flaring up? |

| #8 The thing is, we could never convince them that it was unsafe to Hajj. So what can we do except try to stockpile medication and hope they'll take some vaccinations prior to going. Maybe make sure the Saudi's are ready. We've already attempted to rename the thing. I've long felt the Hajj was gonna lead to some kind of epidemic to a lot of nations that are ill equipped medically to deal with it. The Swine flu, despite the fears, is actually pretty mild and might be what it takes to put the fear of Allah into some folks before something really nasty gets spread around. Yeah probably not. |
