95-year-old woman stopped for driving at 132 km/h

A car speeding at 132km/h on Route 471 near Bar Ilan University on Monday morning was stopped by police who, to their amazement, discovered that the driver was a 95-year-old woman.

Police said the woman was driving 42km/h above the speed limit.

#1  We have a woman nearby who is 99 years young. Just about everyone around here has heard of her. Her name is Evelyn Bryan Johnson. She has been a flight instructor and FAA examiner most of her adult life. Johnson, who learned to fly in 1944, has currently logged in 57,635.4 flying hours, and is the oldest flight instructor in the world. A car crash in 2006 forced doctors to amputate her leg. She is still the airport manager of the Morristown airport.

The speeding 85 year old is just a youngster kicking up her heels and sowing her wild oats. She probably was shooting for 85 mph but got stopped first.
