A moose fell from the sky
2009-05-13
The moose that “fell from the sky,” in an observer’s words, landed on its head and quickly died.

Shirley Bailey, assistant town clerk, got the frantic call shortly after 8 a.m. today. The caller was driving along the road when he saw the moose fall.

Bailey recalled his comments: “I was driving under the bridge on Hinckley Road and a moose fell from the sky.”
"Bullwinkle! Look out!"
"Aaaaaahhhhhhh!"
SPLAT!

The man was “a little shook up,” Bailey said.
He was shook up? How do you think the moose felt?
“It was quite frightening, I guess.”
"As God is my witness, I thought moose could fly."

#7  There was a "young bull moose" running from the area, right? Shoulda been stopped for questioning, IMHO.

#6  Something like that happened in Norway. It fell on a guy's car. The kicker was he was living out of his car because his house had burned down.

Bummer of a week, Ole...

#3  The moose obviously commited suicide by jumping off the bridge. I need 20 million bucks from the Gubmint to study why a moose would want to off himself.
