Fazlullah says he is not against media freedom |
2009-05-01 |
![]() Talking to local media persons by phone from an undisclosed location on Wednesday, the TTS chief said: "I believe in freedom of the media and distribution of pamphlets in Swat was not meant to threaten journalists. It was an appeal to counter conspiracies of the anti-Islam forces through their pen." The journalists are free to work in the district, he added. He said journalists should report events objectively and that they had no intention to put curb on them. The journalists of Swat should continue with their fact-based reporting without any fear, he said. |

#1 "I believe in freedom of the media" ...to say only what is permitted by Allan (as I interpret it.) To do otherwise is apostasy, a capital offense, and has nothing to do with media freedom. |
