[Maghrebia] The Libyan Embassy in Rabat submitted a complaint to the public prosecutor against three Moroccan newspapers, accusing them of "insulting and belittling the dignity" of Libyan President Moamar Kadhafi, Menassat reported on Thursday (April 23rd). The Cairo-based Arabic Network for Human Rights Information (ANHRI) criticised the action against newspapers Al-Masaa, Al-Garida Al-Oula and Moroccan Events as a threat to freedom of the press in Morocco. |
