40 BDR men shown arrested, 52 remanded |

![]() Court sources said 40 mutiny suspects were produced before the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Rashid Kabir by CID police in the afternoon. The plainclothes police sought them on 10-day remand for interrogating them as part of a long-drawn investigation process being carried on to unveil the mystery behind the carnage. After hearing, the court granted 5 days. Meanwhile, earlier-arrested another 32 BDR jawans were also taken on five-day remand when they were produced before the same court this afternoon. |
