| #5 According to Haaretz, LT G Ashkenazi did meet with Natl Security Advisor Jones. Per the article, he also flew back to Israel early to consult on the prisoner exchange discussions. Ashkenazi himself had to turn down an invite because of this. JPost doesn't have anything on this issue. |
