#1  $65 a month per family, more or less? Ok...that works out to $520 for the remainder of this year, assuming the start date of 1 April.

Now, as I recall, his wife dissed the stimulus checks that W handed out last year, saying that $600 per person, not family, wouldn't do much to help anyone's financial situation.

(OK, I'm making the assumption that a single taxpayer would get even less than $520, since I don't have the info from the article to gauge what they would get. Knowing how the press loves to highlight any positive news they can get for Obama, I figured that if singles were getting more than that the article would have said it.)

I know I'm a liberal arts grad from a state college, but I just don't get how $520 from The One spread out in installments is going to help me out more than the $1500 lump sum we got from W.
