In about 2003, computers were seized from an Iowa home, causing a stir because they were related to a terrorist investigation being conducted in Orange county, CA but no more was ever said about it. Apparently no one was living in the house north of Des Moines at the time, so it seemed like an odd connection, but Iowa, like many Midwest states, also absorbed quite a few refugees. |
