#1 When half your "nation" and its population is below sea level or just slightly above, a nuclear power plant would be a very good idea - especially if it had a 20-foot-tall berm around it. That way they could run the pumps to try to keep the rest of the nation from drowning. It's strange - the majority of the Indian subcontinent is growing higher, but the area at the head of the Bay of Bengal (Bangladesh) is sinking about an inch a year.
