On April 11th, 2002, Nouar's brother drove a fuel-filled tanker into a synagogue on the Tunisian vacation island of Djerba, killing 14 Germans, five Tunisians and two French citizens. The purported mastermind of the 9/11 terror attacks, Pakistani Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, is charged with planning the Djerba attack, but the Paris court chose not try him in absentia. |
