Mugabe Threatens to Break Off Power-Sharing Talks
2009-01-19
Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe has threatened to break off power sharing talks if opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai declines a deal in their next meeting. The state media quoted Mr. Mugabe Sunday as saying "either they accept or it's a break."

The two men are scheduled to meet Monday. Tsvangirai, the leader of the opposition Movement for Democratic Change, signed a power-sharing pact with Mr. Mugabe in September. But the pact has not been implemented because of disagreements over key Cabinet posts.

Mr. Mugabe finished second to Tsvangirai in the presidential vote in March. But Mr. Mugabe's government said neither candidate won an absolute majority and called for a run-off in June. Tsvangirai pulled out of the run-off poll, saying scores of his supporters had been killed.

#2  I'm telling you, the sight of those $100Trillion bills affected him, mentally.
He never thought he'd be a Trillionaire, and now that it's finally happened he just can't handle it.
