The moment it becomes independent it becomes an intolerable threat to Turkey, Iran and Syria. Just by its existence it would rally the Kurdish populations in those countries. | #7 maybe joe biden was right onthe spot on that one. look at kirkuk which is flourishing against the rest of Iraq, security is alot better and you usually don't have too worry about road kill blowing up at you. plus their army is already leaps and bounds better than the iraqi armies |
