Armed activists of the defunct Lashkar-e-Islam (LI) on Wednesday raided several markets in Landikotal in Khyber Agency and seized firecrackers from all the shops in the area, terming them 'un-Islamic'. The LI men later torched the firecrackers at a public gathering and warned the residents against selling and using firecrackers, saying their use was un-Islamic.
