| A SURVIVOR of the 2002 Bali bombings says he is frustrated by delays to the executions of the bombers and has appealed to Indonesian authorities to "just get on with it". Gold Coast real estate agent Glenn Cosman, who suffered a leg injury and hearing impairment in the Sari Club bombing on October 12, 2002, said he had hoped the execution would have gone ahead by now. "I just think these blokes talk the talk but they don't walk the walk, they say they want to die but yet they keep appealing,'' Mr Cosman said. "It's very contradictory and I think they should just get on with it.'' However, lawyers for the three bombers - Imam Samudra and brothers Amrozi and Mukhlas - yesterday lodged a fourth appeal against their execution. They have also flagged plans to take their case to Indonesia's National Human Rights Commission and to a parliamentary committee. Mr Cosman said he would have a quiet drink to the trio's demise when the execution finally went ahead. "I think it's very important to make sure that they do get the death penalty because I think that's what they deserve - they are certainly guilty of the crime and have shown no remorse at all,'' he said. "It would make me feel a lot happier because I think the world will be a lot safer place without those guys here.'' |
