Srinagar, October 6: Defying curfew, protesters on Monday set fire on an effigy of Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari in Baramulla town of Jammu and Kashmir for terming militants operating in the state as terrorists. More than 400 protesters defied curfew, which has been imposed in the valley since Sunday, gathered in Baramulla town and raised slogans against Zardari for his remarks on Kashmiri militants in an interview to the Wall Street Journal recently, official sources said.
