| LI commander, five comrades arrested in Bara |

| Security forces arrested a Lashkar-e-Islam (LI) commander and five Taliban in Bara on Saturday. The six were arrested following the kidnapping of a Frontier Constabulary (FC) subedar in the Bara sub division. Locals said security forces had warned that an operation would be launched in Bara if the FC officer was not released by his captors. |
