(AKI) - The Taliban has claimed responsibility for a bomb blast that killed two people in the Afghan capital Kabul on Wednesday.The bomb blast is believed to have targeted Kabul's police chief of criminal investigations, Ali Shah Paktiawal, who was wounded in the attack. An Afghan Interior Ministry spokesman said two of the police official's bodyguards were killed.
The explosion occurred as police were investigating the scene of a crime, where three officers were killed by a roadside bomb the previous night.
