2008-08-29 |
![]() They include barracks, family housing areas and storage areas at Idar-Oberstein, Dexheim and elsewhere. Their current annual operating costs total some $15 million. #6 Close everything, except maybe the hospital since it is at a nice halfway point between the Middle East and the US. Realign the bases and troops in Poland and the Ukraine. |

#3 10 years late, minimally. In many cases, Germans age 55 to 60 and over have an entirely different view of Americans and the United States than do the younger generation. Just like people who are multi-generational social welfare |

#1 For any Germany vets, a while back I found a website that has before and after photos of some of the Stuttgart Kaserns that have been returned to Germany. The Germans lost no time in completely rebuilding many of them as commercial redevelopments. http://members.trainorders.com/usa4624/ |
