(VOI) -- Iraqi security forces captured 376 wanted men and seized large amounts of arms & munitions within Operation Bashaer al-Kheir (Promise of Good) in Diala province, the Iraqi interior ministry said in a statement on Monday. "Fourteen arms caches and four munitions caches were seized," read the ministry statement received by Aswat al-Iraq -- Voices of Iraq -- (VOI)."Mortar assaults were two, attacks with improvised explosive devices by terrorists were 10 and only one car bomb attack, while the IEDs defused were 22, the vehicles seized were nine and one hostage was freed," noted the statement. "The number of displaced families that returned to their original homes were 2,183, the wounded policemen were four, the civilian deaths as a result of terrorist explosions were 11 while the civilians wounded in those blasts were 40," the ministry release pointed out.
