#3 For millenniums, the Chinese have absorbed foreign conquerers by slow assimilation in to the 'Chinese' way. This allowed traditional China to historically prevail before all comers. Now it appears that an outside power without force of arms or occupation of land is doing on to China what they've done to others. Heh. |
