Probable explanation found for hole in Quantas airliner

In case the link turns out to be temporary:

It was discovered that the #4 oxygen cylinder on the jet is missing, and that a 20cm hole was discovered in the floor directly above the cylinder. Fragments of what is believed to have been the missing cylinder were discovered scattered around the damaged area.

#1  Some passnegers complained they weren't getting oxygen through their masks so they had to share with others. If true, it points to oxygen cylinder not longer being there.
