(VOI) - Police forces on Sunday arrested a key al-Qaeda commander during security operation conducted in Kirkuk, a security official said. "Police forces conducted a raid-and-search operation in al-Haweija district, 70 km west Kirkuk, capturing a key al-Qaeda commander,"Brig. Sarhad Qadir, chief of Kirkuk's Districts and Suburbs .told Aswat al-Iraq-Voices of Iraq(VOI). The security official identified the arrested al-Qaeda commander as Abu Jaffar, but he declined to give further details.
