'They were brilliant students with glittering careers ahead of them,' said a spokesman for the Polytech today. Eyewitnesses claimed that "arsonists" hurled petrol bombs into the flat and that at least one of the suspects took off in a Beemer. Hardly the MO of a "drug-crazed" burglar. More like retribution.
