| Egypt searches for terror cell in Sinai |

| Egyptian security forces on Tuesday night were searching for a group of terrorists in Sinai who were planning to carry out a massive attack on one of the tourist resorts. Terror alert declared in Sinai The group is "armed and driving around in four pick-ups," AFP quoted a security official as saying. He added that security forces had bolstered checkpoints on roads in the north and south of the Sinai peninsula. "These people are suspected of planning terrorist attacks in the Sinai," the official said. Channel 10 said that a total of five terror cells were being searched for. |
