Fresh clashes between Turkish police and Kurdish protesters in the southeastern city of Yuksekova have left a Kurdish man dead. Another man died in the province of Van from injuries he sustained during riots on Saturday. Coinciding with the Kurdish New Year, many Kurds have been taking to the streets in a show of support for the separatist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). During clashes with police on Saturday dozens were injured and some 130 arrested.
