| Israel bombs Gaza ministry - report |

| ISRAELI military aircraft bombed the Hamas-run Interior Ministry in Gaza city overnight, a Hamas official said. There was no immediate word of casualties. An Israeli military spokeswoman said she was checking the report. Last month Israel bombed another interior ministry building in Gaza, the first Israeli bombing of a Palestinian government building since Hamas Islamists took over Gaza in June after routing secular Fatah forces loyal to President Mahmoud Abbas. |
