| SHC accepts charges against Jundullah activists |

| High Court of SindhÂ’s Justice Khawaja Naveed Ahmed, also the Administrative Judge (AJ) for Anti-Terrorism Courts (ATCs), accepted Monday the final charge-sheet against activists of the banned Jundullah in six cases and marked the trial to ATC V headed by Judge Haq Nawaz Baloch. The charge-sheet was submitted against Qasim alias Toori, Danish alias Talha and Abid alias Ali by the Jamshed Quarters Police Special Investigations Unit (SIU). They were accused of attempt to murder, possession of illicit arms and explosives, planning terrorist attacks in the city and robbing banks to fund their terrorist activities. The AJ also remanded accused Khan Afsar to the custody of Boat Basin Investigations Police till March 3 in a case of kidnapping for ransom. |
