Lewis “Scooter” Libby: Libby, former Chief of Staff to Vice President Dick Cheney, was sentenced to 30 months in prison and fined $250,000 for lying and obstructing the Valerie Plame CIA leak investigation. Except the gentleman in question was a staffer, not a politician... and it was a gotcha, not corruption. Perhaps that's why Mr. Jefferson got bumped, mhw. |
