Man sodomizes stepson in revenge for raping his daughter
2008-01-13
A father sodomized his 18-year-old stepson to avenge the teenager's alleged rape of the man's 8-year-old daughter, police said. The father, 32, turned himself into to authorities on Friday and was released from jail Saturday after posting a $17,500 bond. He faces a charge of aggravated sexual assault.
What country was this in?
The stepson was arrested Jan. 2 and charged with suspicion of aggravated sexual assault. Police say the father caught him assaulting his daughter, and a subsequent examination at a hospital revealed the girl had been sodomized.

Sgt. Cheryl Johnson, supervisor of the Fort Worth sex crimes unit, said in a story posted Saturday on the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Web site that people need to "allow the criminal justice system to work for them."

"This is a very unique case, but we have a criminal justice system in place, and no one can take the law into their own hands," Johnson said.

When the stepson was arrested, the man warned his wife not to get the teenager out of jail. She posted bond for the teen's release. When he called home Jan. 3 after getting released, the father took the call and picked him up, police said.
Some parents show less judgment in these matters than their kids. In this case it's better to leave the kid in jail. Sometimes for more than one reason. Even before the outcome can be known, this is one of them.
Instead of taking the teenager home, the Arlington man drove to an abandoned house in Fort Worth, beat his stepson with a baseball bat and sodomized him with a metal tool, police said.

After the man left, the stepson found a pay phone and called police, who searched the abandoned home. "We did find evidence at the scene to corroborate our victim's story," Johnson said.
Eww.

The way the legal system works in the US, it may work out better this way. I'd say sentence each of them, then the two can negotiate how many years to remove off of both of each other's sentences.
Ummm, no. Both committed crimes, both do the time. Revenge is the one thing our system has to prevent, or else we're no better than the jihadis and fools we're fighting elsewhere.

A divorce is first in order. Then a lawyer to rake her and her son over the coals over any little thing that the attorney can find on both the ex-wife and son to cover any and all mental anguished caused the 8 year old child. In other words, work em over in the courts until they wish they had never been born for this.

#5  I feel no joy, glee, or self-satisfaction from thinking of the rape horrors that go on in most prisons. It's dreadful and any of you who have fathers, sons, or brothers ought to say so.

Quite so. Pops should have put a bullet between junior's eyes and spared us the spectacle of the kid getting off when a sympathetic jury hears his case.

#4  I disagree. Frankly, I'm tired of rape. Even revenge rape.

I won't be drawn into a discussion of the merits of this case or any other. Pops should have collected his daughter from school and left the state long before Sonny got bailed out by the halfwit wife.

#3  When I first started reading this, I thought it was a story from Pakistan, not Texas.

I think Dad should get a good lawyer, cause if presented right he won't serve much time.

#2  8 year old daughter...

The kid will be known as "short eyes" in prison, and his life will be a justifiable hell. The father will be known as a hero who avenged his little girl. No comparison in how they'll be treated.

#1  ..the man's 8-year-old daughter..

Unfortunately, the innocent 8 year old will be society's human sacrifice to their moral superiors who insist we accept these things. I'm just way too old fashion. No amount of time is going to change the creature that did this. Someone of this predatory nature is not fit among society any more than a feral mountain lion walking around the neighborhood which is no where near the edge of any forest or mountain.
