He does NOT get the Worker of the Month award

A man has been arrested on charges he tried and failed to kill a couple four times, Tampa Bay Online reports.

Edmon Vardanyan, 23, was charged Tuesday with traveling in interstate commerce with the intent to kill, injure or harass in connection with four attempts on the lives of Grigori and Galina Komissarchuk of Sarasota, Fla., and Brooklyn, N.Y., TBO.com reports.

According to the report, Vardanyan told police he was hired to kill the couple, who are in their 60s, because they refused to pay a debt. He allegedly made attempts on their lives on Sept. 24, 2006, Sept. 25, 2006, Dec. 6, 2006, and April 30, 2007, but — though he was able to beat them, and at one point fracture both their skulls — the couple survived each attempt.

Vardanyan said he wasn't paid for the attack because "he didn't do the job correctly," TBO.com reports.

#7  As soon as the writer's strike is over, some clever individual will pitch their script based on true events. Who'll play the lead? The couple? Isn't Hollywood original?

#4  A bit more:

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office investigated one of the early complaints from the Komissarchuks. Sheriff's Lt. Chuck Lesaltato said the person who allegedly initiated the hit on the couple was their son-in-law, a man he said was referred to as "the Boss." Lesaltato declined to release the name, saying the FBI had taken over the investigation.

Lesaltato said the son-in-law allegedly contacted a middle man who ordered Vardanyan to harass the Komissarchuks. The dispute may have been over money, he said.

Federal court records say Vardanyan told investigators that the Komissarchuks owed money and were refusing to pay.

#3  Edmon, "hit man" doesn't mean that you actually hit them. Most use a gun.
Just for future reference...
