No billions for Paris Hilton - Grandpa to give away fortune to charity

Paris Hilton's grandfather and hotel magnate Barron Hilton has announced he will leave 97 per cent of his fortune to charity, which amounts to $2.3 billion. The Hilton hotel chain consists of more than 500 hotels around the world.

Family patriarch Barron Hilton is believed to be embarrassed and upset by his granddaughter's wild behaviour - notably when a compromising video of Paris Hilton was leaked on the Internet and by her 23-day prison sentence last month.

The money will go to the Conrad N Hilton Foundation, the charity set up in the name of the founder of the family business.
