Russia delivers nuke fuel to Iran
2007-12-17

#5  KOMMERSANT/PAYVAND > articles indics that the nuke fuel sent to Iran by Russ will be enriched to 3.62 % or 3.7% [rounded off].

OTOH, DRUDGEREPORT > Iran is planning to contruct a SECOND NUKE PLANT [indigenous], to further process = utilize the fuel produced by the one at NATANTZ. Also vows to continue wid indigen = independent? enrichment actvities, + work towards 50,000 centrifuges as Iran argues that 3000 is enuff only for a 100+ megawatt energy plant when Iran in reality needs a 360 megawatt-capable energy plant.

MOUD > NIE REPORT IS A "DECLARATION OF SURRENDER" BY USA; + BIGNEWSNETWORK > IRAN IS NOT IN ANY DEFENDANT POSITION FOR IAEA - US' own NIE justifies any and all arguments by Iran and puts defensive burden squarely on USA. READ - USA IS THE ONE THAT NEEDS TO BE SANCTIONED, PROSECUTED BEFORE THE UNO, NOT IRAN.

#4  In fact since this plant has been under construction for almost 30 years, it isn't clear it will ever really work well.

A small price to pay for diverting attention. Even Potemkin Villages did cost something. There are other facilities and Spinning Centrifuges(TM), that are out of sight.

#3  Does this fuel work well in the centrifuges that are spinning off the material for bombs? It's not like we ever believed the power plant was actually desired for consumer production.

#2  Iran evidently paid enough for one shipment of fuel. It will take more than that to get the plant going. In fact since this plant has been under construction for almost 30 years, it isn't clear it will ever really work well.

#1  Ummm, what about those reports that Iran stiffed the Russians,(Didn't pay them for the reactor's construction.) are the reports false, or the Ruskies idiots?
