| 2 soldiers killed in N Wazoo attacks |

| Two soldiers were killed in as many attacks on security forces in North Waziristan on Monday, official sources said. Paramilitary soldier Naik Waris Khan was killed when militants attacked the Tall checkpost, 20 kilometres south of Miranshah on the Miranshah-Razmak road, the sources said. Another soldier was killed when a remote-controlled roadside bomb hit a military convoy near Eidak village, 18 kilometres east of Miranshah on the Miranshah-Bannu highway. The same convoy had earlier escaped a similar attack in Frontier Region, Bannu. The security forces retaliated, but no militant was killed. |
