| #2 I can fathom that ratio averaged over the whole country. There are vast areas of NJ, NY, & CT where US born to foreign born (who can say if they are here legally) are only 1 in 100 if not better. I can believe at least 1/10th of that is illegal if not more. Add that to the free-for-all that is going on in the Southwest, and that number becomes believable in my estimatation. I agree though that it's virtually impossible to back that with actual numbers. |

| #1 Thirty million is roughly 1 in 10 people. Allow me to express my scepticism. There *are* immigration issues, but making up scary numbers adds nothing to the discussion. See "Global Warming" for further examples. |
