| #1 The case relates to slush funds that Siemens managers set up to pay bribes in a bid to win foreign contracts. It's doubtful that any of these penalties will find their way to the honest competitors who were cheated by Siemen's corruption. Too bad there's not some avenue for additional legal action intended to recover financial losses imposed upon the other bidders. |
