Hamas: Fatah has launched an insurgency against us in Gaza |
2007-10-05 |
Popcorn time in old Gazatown After failing to organize a popular uprising against Hamas in Gaza, Fatah has begun resorting to "insurgency" tactics in a bid to undermine the Islamist movement, Hamas officials said Thursday. The officials told The Jerusalem Post Fatah militiamen were behind a series of bombings that targeted Hamas members and institutions over the past few weeks. Another Hamas official told the Post that Fatah was behind at least 14 attacks against Hamas figures and institutions in the Gaza Strip over the past month. It's a quagmire |

#4 None dare call if "Intifada". If there's one thing you can count Palestinian culture to be good at, it is uprising. A perpetual state of low level warfare has been the norm for decades. It's also their only reliable export, although that market may be shrinking. I wish them the best of luck with their new venture. |
