Pakistan on Monday expressed concern over Indian involvement with anti-state elements in the country, and said that the matter would be raised at the forthcoming meeting of a joint anti-terrorism mechanism between the two countries, Foreign Office spokeswoman Tasnim Aslam told a weekly media briefing. The spokeswoman said Kashmir and Siachen were internationally recognised disputed areas and it had been proven that such disputes could not be resolved through war, and the only way progress could be achieved was through dialogue and negotiation. She said Pakistan was interested in sending back the Afghan refugees and the Afghan government had also agreed to it, but the UNHCR was unable to mobilise the required funds for the repatriation of the refugees. |
